RM of Calder’s story
The Rural Municipality of Calder No. 241 was incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913. It lies in southeastern Saskatchewan, in Census Division No. 9 and SARM Division No. 4.
The village of Calder is surrounded by the RM, and the unincorporated communities of Kessock and Wroxton are found within its boundaries. Today the RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Wednesday of every month. The municipal office is in Wroxton.
